A documentary photography session
It's hard not to be completely enamoured with this photography session. Sarah, Brad and their gorgeous children welcomed me onto their property where I fell in love with not only their kindness, but the beautiful life they live.
In this documentary-style This Is Us session, I followed this family as they played in their incredible vegetable and flower garden, as they chased after the ducks, chickens and sheep that live happily in this wonderland too, as they toasted marshmallows on the fire, explored cubby houses, hunted for fresh eggs, fed animals and played on bikes and with balls.
I didn't direct this session, apart from the final shot against their gorgeous wooden shed, rather, I captured the Ottens exactly as they are in their world so that they can remember just how magical it is.
